It notes an incident in 1996 while assigned to St. Mary Immaculate in St. Maries, reported the same year. Arockima was expelled from the diocese and sent back to India.

Extern priest from the Philippines' Diocese of Malolos. Abused boys over a 20-year period while assigned in the Philippines, the Diocese of Cleveland, US Navy, Diocese of Boise, and Diocese of San Diego. Named in several civil suits. Convicted in 1984; sentenced to seven years. Released to treatment after three years. A 2003 civil suit in San Diego said that plaintiff lived with Baltazar and traveled with him for five years during military assignments. Always introduced as his nephew. Deceased. Included in 3/2007 on the Diocese of San Diego's list of credibly accused. On Santa Rosa diocese's list 1/12/2019, where he was a hospital chaplain 1981-1982. On the Reno diocese's lit 4/5/2019, where he was assigned in 1980. On the Las Vegas diocese's list 4/12/2019. On the Boise diocese's list in 10/2019; incidents in the late 1970s and 1985 while assigned to St. Alphonsus Hospital, reported in 1985.

Fr. W. Thomas Faucher

Retired in 2015. Canon lawyer, writer. Arrested 2/2/2018 by the Idaho Internet Crimes Against Children unit, charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance (marijuana, LSD and ecstasy) and 12 counts of Sexual Exploitation of a Child. Per prosecutor, porn found on Faucher's computer included images of torture and sex abuse of infants and toddlers. Pastor of St. Mary's 2002-retirement. By 2/14/2018 the diocese received an allegation that Faucher sexually abused a child 40-plus years previously. By 4/13/2018 another alleged victim had come forward. One of the two said Faucher abused him 1987-1989 when he was in grades 6 and 7 at Sacred Heart, and Faucher was pastor. Pleaded guilty to child porn in plea deal 9/2018. Sentenced to 25 years in prison with no parole. Laicization announced in 10/2019. Faucher appealed his sentenced; it was upheld by ID court in 4/2020. Died 10/29/2020.

Fr. Augustine J. Ferretti

A woman filed suit in 10/2008 against the Jesuits alleging abuse by Ferreti in the 1970s, beginning when she was 8 and he was assigned to Lapwai Catholic Church, Nez Perce. Ferretti died in 6/1982. The suit was dismissed in 1/2009 and refiled, adding the Boise Diocese as a defendant. Several other women came forward with similar complaints. At least two claims (one by a man) were settled in a massive Jesuit settlement 3/25/2011. Named in a civil suit against the Ursuline order and Helena MT diocese in 9/2011 for abuse at St. Ignatius Mission. Included on the Helena diocese's list posted to its website 4/29/2015 in compliance with the non-monetary terms of the 3/5/2015 bankruptcy settlement. On the Great Falls-Billings List 8/21/2018. On the Jesuits West Province list 12/7/2018. It notes abuse of a minor 1952-1958, 1960-1969 and 1971-1976, reported in 2009.

Boise diocese priest working in Santa Fe NM in the mid-1970s. Accused in a 1994 lawsuit of abuse of a boy in while in NM, after treatment by the Paracletes in Jemez Springs. Settled. Also alleged to have abused in 1981 in ID. On Santa Fe archdiocese list 9/12/2017. On San Bernardino diocese's list 10/9/2018; worked 1986-1987 at a Chino parish. Per San Bernardino diocese, it was aware in 1986 of allegations. Garcia left San Bernardino in 2/1987. Noted to be deceased, although the Santa Fe archdiocese's list in 3/2019 notes him to be living. Incardinated into the Diocese of Tijuana Mexico upon recommendation in 1990 from Bishop Tod Brown. On Santa Rosa diocese's list 1/12/2019, assigned there beginning 11/1973. On Boise diocese's list in 10/2019, which has the notation "imprisoned."


Fr. William R. Gould

Removed from St. George's in Post Falls in 5/2010 after an allegation of sexually inappropriate behavior with a male under age 18 in about 1981 in Idaho Falls. The Diocese admitted that Gould had been sent for therapy in 2005 after a relationship with an adult. Gould denied the latest allegation. A few days later, the Diocese said that Gould had also been sent for treatment in 1989 after an allegation by an adult. No longer able to function as a priest in 12/2010, per Vatican decision. Included on the Boise diocese's list of credibly accused in 10/2019.

Deacon Robert Howell

Ordained for the diaconate in 2001. Pleaded guilty in 11/2004 to viewing child pornography in 2002 on a computer at the Boise office of Seattle's Casey Family Programs, a foster child counseling service. Bishop Driscoll knew of the investigation in 6/2004; removed Howell in 1020/04 and informed Howell's parish in 2/2005. Sentenced in 1/2005 to 18 months in prison. Reportedly laicized in 2006. On ID sex offender registry 620/11. Included on the Diocese's list of credibly accused in 10/2019.

Fr. Colman H. King

First named publicly as credibly accused by the Diocese in its 10/24/2019 revised list. It notes a report in 1993 of an incident in the 1960s while King was assigned to St. Rita's in Kellogg. King was born and educated in Ireland and was first assigned in 1923 to Immaculate Conception in Buhl ID. Among other assignments, he was pastor of St. Anthony's in Pocatello 1928-1939 and pastor of St. Rita's in Kellogg 1950-1970, after which he retired. He died 9/22/1973 in Ireland.

Fr. Lucien J. Meunier

Also known as Pedro Luke, Luke Munier, Lucien Muernier, Pedro Luc de la Pierre, etc. From Canada. Bishops there allegedly knew of his abuse of at least one child as early as 1966. 'Pilgrim priest' went from diocese to diocese. Accused of molesting 10-year-old CO boy in 1972. Pueblo bishop arranged for treatment at Servants of Paraclete in NM; Meunier didn't show up. USCCB president Cardinal Bernardin was said to have been warned. Assigned in the Diocese of Gallup to a Winslow AZ parish 8/1972-6/1973. Granted faculties in Tucson in 1974. Convicted in 1976 of abusing two boys there. Spent two years at AZ mental health facility, released; apparently charges dropped, guilty charge vacated. Charged in 10/1989 with abuse of six boys in British Columbia in the 1950s and 1960s. Also accused of abuse of a girl. Died 1/20/1990, days before scheduled extradition to Canada. Many law suits 1998-2004. Included on the Tucson diocese's list. Included on the Gallup diocese's 12/2014 list. On Hartford list 1/22/2019; there 1981-1982. On Boise list 10/2019; abuse in 1971 reported in 1993.

Br. William J. Nash

As part of Section 13.1, Non-Monetary Commitments, of the Society of Jesus, Oregon Province, Reorganization Plan (dated 7/18/2011) the Order agreed to post on its website the names of all members of the Province who are identified as perpetrators of sexual abuse in proofs of claims filed in the bankruptcy case, and who have not denied the allegation. Nash's name is included on this list. Included on the Jesuits West Province list 12/7/2018, which notes claims in 2009 of abuse 1953-1959. Nash was assigned 1934-1958 to Sacred Heart Mission in Desmet, and 1958-1961 to Mount St. Michael's in Spokane, WA. He died 4/7/1984.

Accused in 1993 of molesting a boy for four years while assigned to St. Paul's Catholic Center. Police investigated but no charges filed because the statute of limitations had expired. Admitted the abuse. Left active priesthood in 1994. Laicized. Included on the diocese's list of credibly accused in 10/2019. It notes incidents occurring 1976-1981 reported in 1992. Assignments at time of "incident(s)" were St. Mary's in Caldwell, St. Paul's Student Center in Boise and St. Augustine's Student Center in Moscow.
