Fr. James H. Lane
Chaplain for the Boston Police Department for 30 years, starting in 1972. Died in 7/2007. Accused of abuse of an altar boy at St. Paul’s in Dorchester 1966-1967; settlement of claim by the Archdiocese was announced in 4/2012. Previously known as a whistleblower regarding allegations against other priests. Died before allegations could be investigated. Included on the Archdiocese’s list in 2018.
