Fr. John Marsh
Marsh resigned from active priesthood in late 1988. He admitted to molesting about 10 boys. Named in a 2002 civil suit by three brothers and their mother. The brothers accused him of abuse between 1969-1973. Settled in 12/2003 for $425K. The youngest brother of the three original plaintiffs filed his own suit in late 1/2005. Marsh may have been laicized in 1989. He was deposed in the Fr. Paul Conn case, who pleaded guilty in 1988 to abuse of boys. Named in new suit in 6/2011. Name included on the archdiocese’s list 1/15/2016 of clergy and religious with established, admitted or credible allegations against them of sexual abuse of a minor. Deceased.
