Taught at Jesuit high schools in TX and New Orleans LA before a 35-year career as an Asian History and Zen teacher at Loyola University in New Orleans. Left the priesthood to marry in 1996. Died in 2006. Accused in a 9/2016 lawsuit of sexually assaulting and raping a girl on campus hundreds of times 1978-1985, beginning when the girl was age 5. Her grandmother worked at the University. Wren’s accuser said he told her that if she told their “special secret” she and her family would die and go to hell. Settlement announced in 7/2018. Included on the archdiocese’s list 11/2/2018. On the Jesuits’ Central and Southern Province list of credibly accused 12/7/2018.
