Fr. Michael Howard Weston
Newly identified as an abuser in the Chicago Archdiocesan Report of 3/23/2006. Resigned in 9/1993. Laicized in 10/2009. Personnel file released in 1/2014 shows he was working in Chicago in the 1970s when at least one allegation was received; no action by the Archdiocese. In 2003, the Review Board found the allegations credible. Later worked as chaplain for Western Michigan University and Kalamazoo Valley College. Subject of settlement(s), per Attorney Garabedian in 4/2022. Included in the 5/23/2023 IL Attorney General’s Report, which notes nine “reported survivors,” of abuse in Cook County IL 1973-1981.
