Fr. Robert A. Ward
The Archdiocese knew in 1995 that Ward used cocaine and had been treated for drug abuse. A computer technician found child pornography on Ward’s computer in 6/2099. Evaluated and placed on leave; reassigned to the archdiocese development office in 1/2001. In 2/2002 a man alleged abuse as an altar boy in the mid-1970s; Ward was suspended. Voluntary laicization in 2004 announced in 2005. Living in Pembroke, MA as of 10/2008. Boston archdiocese’s list in 8/2011 notes that the case concluded canonically.
