Admitted abusing two boys. The Diocese settled one claim in 4/2005 for an undisclosed amount. A man said that as a child Valliere would give him beer and marijuana at the rectory. Valliere’s file included a 1976 letter from a parent complaining about drunk youths at the rectory. Placed on sick leave in 1989 after complaints by three women in his parish. On sick leave 4/1/1989 – 6/20/1990 for therapy. Assigned to another parish. On sick leave again 1/26/1996 until he retired in 6/2001. Privileges removed in 2002. Laicized, per the Diocese’s list 7/31/2019. Died in 2007.
