Fr. Chester Vincent Tomaszewski

Named publicly as credibly accused by the diocese on its list 9/27/2019. Went on sick leave 1/15/1987. Died 10/21/1987. Included in the MI Attorney General’s 12/16/2024 Diocese of Lansing Report. In 2008 a man told the Diocese that he was sexually abused by Tomaszewski as an altar boy at St. Mary’s in Bronson MI in the late 1960s or early 1970s . The man received a settlement of $205K and the Diocese paid for his counseling.
