Fr. Francis A. Talbot
Accused in 2002 of abuse in the 1960s by at least four people. Placed on leave 10/2002. One claim settled in 10/2002. Another settled 11/2002. At least two suits were filed. One suit settled in 4/2003. Sentenced to at least ten years in prison 3/2003 after pleading guilty in 12/2002 to five counts of sexually assaulting a boy over a period of eight years. Not listed in the 3/2003 NH Attorney General’s Report. Request for early release due to health denied in 11/2010. Still in prison 2/05/2012. Per the diocese’s list 7/31/2019, assigned to a life of prayer and penance. Deceased.
