Fr. Ignacio Tafoya
Placed on administrative leave in 8/1994 and suspended from priestly duties pending an investigation into allegations of past sexual misconduct with minors. Archbishop Sanchez was asked about allegations against Tafoya in his 1994 deposition. He said that Tafoya had come to him to say that someone had made a statement to a nun about Tafoya and that the statement was a lie. Included on the Santa Fe archdiocese’s list of accused 9/12/2017. Accused in a lawsuit in 11/2018 of the sexual abuse of a boy in 1974.
