Fr. Richard A. Severson
Ordained at age 45. Had been a Hoosick Falls police officer, mayor and Boy Scouts volunteer. Died 10/18/07, age 71. Accused in a lawsuit filed in 8/19 under the NY Child Victims Act of sexually abusing a boy, ages 10-13, in 1982-85 while assigned to St. Mary’s in Hudson Falls. The suit alleges Severson also abused other children.
