Fr. Joseph Rossell
From Spain, where he was ordained as for the Sons of the Holy Family. Arrived in CO in 1947 and in San Diego in 1953. Incardinated in the Diocese of San Diego in 1954. Frequent transfers first three years, then assigned to St. Anthony in National City 1956-72. Retired to Spain in 1972. Died in 1982. Name appears on list of priests with credible allegations of abuse released by San Diego diocese 3/30/07. Personnel file released 10/25/10. Named in a number of lawsuits. Accused in a suit filed in 1/20 under the CA Child Victims Act of molesting two girls in catechism class.
