Fr. Emmeran Rettger
Named publicly as accused by the St. Vincent Abbey Benedictines in 8/2018. Multiple allegations of abuse dating to his time at St. Benedict’s in Covington, KY 1965-1967. Per the Archabbey, the allegations were received in 1993, and Rettger was removed from active ministry. Included on the Diocese of Covington’s list 7/31/2020 of those with substantiated allegation(s). Died 6/10/1999.
