Reportedly worked off and on at Conception Abbey before 1981, then became pastor in Parnel. Also worked in North Dakota, returning to the Abbey in 1996. Probstfield died 11/4/08. Given name Vernon Charles Probstfield. Brother of accused priest Edgar Probstfield, O.S.B.
