From the Philippines. Arrived in San Diego in 1990. Charged in 1993 with 40 counts of abusing a 14-year-old girl just after returning from Pope John Paul II’s Mass in Denver in 8/93. The girl’s mother told the Diocese and he confessed. Surrendered faculties in 10/93 and fled to the Philippines. Considered a fugitive from criminal charges. Civil suit also filed. Name included on 3/07 San Diego list of credibly accused priests. Still a fugitive in 2010. Personnel file released 10/10.
