From the Philippines. Arrived in San Diego CA in 1990. Charged in 1993 with 40 counts of abusing a 14-year-old girl just after returning from Pope John Paul II’s Mass in Denver in 8/1993. The girl’s mother told the Diocese and he confessed. Surrendered his faculties in 10/1993 and fled to the Philippines. Considered a fugitive from criminal charges. A civil suit also was filed. Name included in 3/2007 on the San Diego diocese’s list of credibly accused priests. Personnel file released in 10/2010. Remained a fugitive in 2024.
