Fr. Jan C. Olowin
Monsignor. Named as accused in the 8/14/2018 PA Grand Jury Report. Phone call to the Diocese in 5/1993 from a man alleging sexual abuse by Olowin when he was young; possibly one or two other victims. Details vague. Retired to Sun City AZ in 10/2016. Ministry restricted in 11/2016 due to past allegation. Included on the Diocese’s list 12/3/2018; noted to be under investigation. The list updated 1/2/2023 shows Olowin to be credibly accused and that Olowin is forbidden to function as a priest.
