Fr. Jose Alfredo Olivas
Arrested and charged in 6/99 with indecency with a child during the summer of 1998. Indicted by grand jury in 8/99. Charges dismissed in 10/01 “in light of the impact on the victim” if the case went to trial and because the boy asked that case not be pursued. As of 3/02 Olivas was still on leave pending church investigation.
