Fr. Brendan W. O’Donoghue
Retired in 1984. Placed on leave in 1994 after a man filed suit in alleging that O’Donoghue sexually assaulted him at age 13 in 1978. The suit referenced two previous allegations. It settled in 1999 for $300K. O’Donoghue was transferred 12 times in his first 15 years as priest. A 1999 civil suit by a second plaintiff who alleged abuse in 1962 settled in 2001. Additional suits filed in 2002 and 2004. Died 08/26/2014.
