Fr. Doug Mullin
Initially a religious brother, Mullin made his monastic commitment with the Benedictines in 1979. Ordained for the priesthood in 2007. Accused in a 7/16 lawsuit of sexually abusing a 15-year-old boy in 1993 when the boy was a St. John’s Prep student and Mullin was Dean of Students. Mullin denied the allegation. Went on leave from public ministry and moved out of St. John’s University dorms, where he long resided. Stayed on as St. John’s VP.
