Accused in a lawsuit filed in 2020 of sexually abusing a minor in 1959, while assigned to St. Mary’s in Wappinger Falls NY, where he had organized the Wappinger Falls Catholic Youth Organization. Moore was at the parish for four years, until his transfer in 9/1959 to Our Lady of the Assumption in Pelham Bay in the Bronx. He later worked in Riverdale. He became well known after he was assigned in 1976 to St. Malachy’s in Manhattan, also called the Actors’ Chapel. Moore died in 5/1991.
