Fr. Thomas R. Miller

Parish priest and head of two parochial schools. Placed on leave in 2004 after a man alleged that he had been sexually assaulted as a child by Miller in 1979 in Bloomington. Others came forward with similar allegations. The Diocese’s review board found at least one allegation credible. Laicized in 10/2006. Appealed to Rome to reverse the laicization; denied in 2010. Included on the Diocese’s list in 12/2018. Accused in a 3/2025 lawsuit of sexually abusing a boy 1997-2003, beginning when the boy was age 8.
