Fr. Albert McMahon
First named publicly as accused in the 8/14/2018 PA Grand Jury Report. In 4/2004 a 54-year-old woman told the diocese that when she was about 11 years old “Fr. Albert” molested her on a few occasions at St. Pamphilus. The diocese informed the Provincial of the Franciscan’s Province of the Immaculate Conception in NY. In 1/2014 a 63-year-old man reported to the diocese that when he was an 11- to 14-year-old altar boy at St. Pamphilus in the mid-1960s McMahon would invite the altar boys, one at a time, to his friary room to wrestle. He said McMahon would get on top of him, always with an erection. McMahon Died 2/8/2018 in Albany, NY at age 83.
