Fr. Charles P. McColgan
Priest of the Diocese of Camden. Accused in testimony in a class action lawsuit hearing of fondling a boy in a Philadelphia bathhouse in the 1970s. Same plaintiff alleged abuse by Rev. John Kelly. Civil suit filed in 1994 (RICO suit); plaintiff’s claims dismissed as beyond the statute of limitations. McColgan died in 1993. All RICO claims settled in 3/2003. Name included on the Camden diocese’s list in 2/2019.
