Fr. Thomas James McCarthy
At least one claim of abuse by McCarthy was included in the Diocese’s 11/2008 $4.5M settlement with 59 plaintiffs. Added 6/2/2021 to the Diocese’s list of accused. Allegedly sexually abused a child 1954-1957 while assigned to Our Lady of the Sacred Heart in Springfield. Died in 2003.
