Allegations of abuse at North Catholic in Pittsburgh were made in 2014 against 7 Marianist brothers, including May, who was at the school 1960-1970. Two former students alleged he abused them. Head of Marianist Order apologized in writing to Diocese and students. Born in 1898. Entered Order in 1924, made final vows in 1928. Taught and was principal of a number of high schools, including in Dayton OH, Hamilton OH, Chester PA, Brooklyn NY, Philadelphia PA, Beacon NY, Covington KY, Pittsburgh PA. Died 7/8/1970. Included on the Order’s list 6/24/2020.
