Fr. Rodolfo Martinez-Guevara
Resided as a transitional deacon then as an ordained priest at Our Lady of Guadalupe in Oxnard 7/1/2021-9/30/2022. In residence after that with his order in Long Beach, adjacent to St. Maria Goretti Church and School. Arrested in 9/2023, charged with possession of over 600 child sex abuse images and videos. The images were of mostly boys under the age of 12. Removed from ministry. Convicted in 10/2024. Also pleaded no contest to sodomy with a person under age 16 and to a lewd act with a child age 14 or 15. Sentenced in 12/2024 to one year in jail (with time served) starting 1/13/2025, two years’ probation, and to register as a sex offender for 10 years.
