Fr. Brennan Maiers
A man filed suit in 2/1992 claiming Maiers abused him at age 9 in 1966. It settled out of court in late 1992. Maiers admitted the abuse and also that he had been arrested for soliciting an undercover officer at an adult movie theater in 1984. Also admitted to sexual relationships with a woman and two men in NY in the 1970s. Permanently removed from ministry in 2002. Living under restriction at St. John’s Abbey. Included on their list released 12/9/2013. Also on the Addendum to the 12/31/2013 Duluth list and St. Cloud diocese’s 1/3/2014 list. St. Paul personnel file released 05/19/2014. Maiers died in 7/22.
