Fr. Carlos Lozano
Oblate brother for several years prior to ordination. Convicted 1994 for abuse of 4 boys. Sentenced to 30 days in jail and 10 years probation (deferred adjudication). Civil suit filed 1994. Left priesthood in 1994. One victim died by suicide in 1997. Shortly before probation ended in 2004, Lozano was arrested for computer pornography; judge sentenced him to 20 years in prison for each of 4 prior convictions (to be served concurrently). On archdiocese’s list 1/31/19. It notes 7 allegations. Lozano was laicized in 2003 and died in prison.
