Fr. Jerold W. Lindner
A civil suit alleging abuse of two brothers in 1975 settled for $625K in 1998. Named in at least one more civil suit in 2003 with two accusers alleging abuse 1973-1983. Article references ten victims; the three youngest were five years old. Also abused nieces and nephews. Living under a safetly plan at Sacred Heart Jesuit Center at Los Gatos from 2003. Beaten in 5/2010 in Los Gatos by one of his accusers. Accuser was acquitted of felony assault and elder abuse at trial 7/5/2012. Lindner’s testimony was stricken. Included on the Oakland diocese’s list 2/17/2019. Included on the Jesuits West list 12/7/2018.
