Fr. Conrad V. LaForest
Accused in 1990 of abuse of a boy, age 12-13. LaForest was reportedly involved sexually with adult men. He underwent multiple treatments for “alcoholism.” His name appeared on a list of 14 accused priests released by the Diocese in 2/2002. He had been on sick leave since 1996 and then had been working part time since 1999. His privileges were removed in 2/2002. Reportedly he (and all the other priests on the list) had been sent for treatment and had been cleared to return to ministry. LaForest died in 2003.
