Order revealed two past allegations of “inappropriate relationships.” Sent to treatment both times. Placed on restricted leave in 1993. Laicized in 1996. Pled guilty in 11/2007 just before trial. Sentenced to five years in prison in 3/2008. Worked in dioceses of Stockton (twice), Tucson, Portland, El Paso, Spokane, Seattle, Sacramento, Reno, and Phoenix; aka Wayne 1963-1974, aka Louie. Name included on the Seattle archdiocese’s list 1/15/2016 (spelled Ladenberger). Worked at St. George in Seattle 1980-1984. New accusation in 5/2018 of abuse in 1973 in Stockton. On the Las Cruces diocese’s list 11/8/2018. On Las Vegas’ list 4/12/2019. On the Santa Barbara Province Franciscans list 5/31/2019. On Phoenix list 10/29/2019.
