Seminarian Thomas Kloppenborg
Entered the Vincentians as a novice in 1969. Ordained a deacon in 1978. Ordained for priesthood in 1991. In preparation for religious life, admitted early on that he had a “consensual” relationship as an older teen with a youth in mid-teens while in seminary in the 1970s. In 2002 removed by superior from assignment in CO. Stayed at Order’s headquarters until 2004 when he moved to Nairobi. Worked there until his death in 2007.
