Personnel file released in 1/2004. Church spokesman said Kirchmeyer and two other priests were allowed to remain in ministry because the allegations were either anonymous or withdrawn. A subsequent news release from the Archdiocese said that Kirchmeyer had retired and was granted senior priest/retired status as of 2/27/2004. Died 2/26/2008 in FL. Included on the Archdiocese’s 8/2011 list.
