Fr. Placid Kaczorek

Named publicly as credibly accused of the sexual abuse of a minor by the Springfield MA Diocese on its list 6/2/2021. The abuse allegedly occurred 1973-1981. Kaczorek worked in the diocese 1970-2001: at Saith Hyacinth College and Seminary in Granby 1970-1988; St. Anthony of Padua Parish in Chicopee 1988-1990; at St. Stanislaus Bishop and Martyr Basilica in Chicopee 1991-2001. He died in 2016. In 11/2024 the Diocese announced that there were three additional credible allegations against Kaczorek.
