Fr. Barry M. Hudock
Hudock’s name was added 5/18/2018 to the Diocese of Erie’s list of credibly accused. Reportedly was laicized in 2005. Married. Per an online bio, Hudock worked for nonprofits in WV, then settled in Albany, MN with his wife and seven children. Published author, blogger. Resigned in 6/2018 from his job as publisher for the parish market at Liturgical Press at St. John’s Abbey in Collegeville, MN. Included in the 8/14/2018 PA Grand Jury Report. It shows a report in 2008 to the Diocese that in 1996-1997 Hudock sexually abused a 17-year-old girl who was a student at Mercyhurst Prep. He was let go in 2008 from his job at Christian Brothers Academy in Syracuse NY after they were notified of the allegations. He had been living in Syracuse with his wife and children.
