Arrested in 4/89, charged with fondling a female nursing home resident’s naked breasts. The woman had advanced dementia. Pleaded guilty, sentenced to 5 months probation. Name included on the Rochester diocese’s 6/7/12 list of priests removed between 2002 and 2012. Voluntarily laicized, apparently due to child sex abuse allegation(s). On Wheeling-Charleston diocese’s list in late 2018, where he was assigned 1963-67. Noted to have been accused in 1963 in Rochester of abuse involving adults. Went on leave of absence in 3/63 for “reasons of health.”
