Fr. Patrick Gleeson

From Ireland, where he was ordained for the Diocese of Sacramento. Incardinated into the Santa Rosa diocese when it was created in 1962. Retired 8/21/1989. Died 4/15/1991. A man filed a civil suit 11/2002 against the Diocese sexual alleging abuse as a boy by Gleeson 1968-1972, when Gleeson was pastor of Our Lady of Perpetual Help in Calistoga. The Diocese said there were no previous allegations against Gleeson. Two cases settled in 6/2005 as part of a $7.3M deal with 8 people. Included on the Diocese’s list of accused 1/12/2019. In 12/2019 five men filed suits under the CA Child Victims Act, claiming abuse by Gleeson as altar boys.
