Seminarian Joseph Gilpin

Former seminarian, never ordained. Sued in 1/01 for repeatedly abusing a boy 1965-68. Case settled in 2004. Personnel file was released in 12/02. Gilpin was living in FL and working as assistant principal in a middle school. Resigned when the allegations became public. Allegations emerged that he had made inappropriate comments to students in FL. Sued by a man in ME who alleged abuse while working there as a seminarian. Omitted from 2011 Boston AD database.
