Fr. Charles Gielow
The Phoenix Diocese announced in 3/2014 that the Claretians had recently revealed a credible allegation against Gielow involving the sexual abuse of a minor in the late 1970s. Assigned to Sacred Heart Parish in Prescott 1960-1966. Also spent time at CA State at Los Angeles and East Los Angeles Colleges before becoming chaplain of the Newman Club at Southwest Texas State Univ (San Marcos) 1969-1975. Also worked at the Cursillo Center, later known as the Mount Claret Retreat Center, 1/1976-6/1980. Died 06/29/1980.
