Fr. Cristobal Garcia
Arrived in Los Angeles in 1983 and left in 11/1985. Sued in 1988 for abuse of two boys between 1983-1986. Accused of abuse and boundary violations. Suspended by his order in 1985 and later expelled. Fled to the Philippines. Became part of the Archdiocese of Cebu. Accused again in a civil suit in 2003. Removed without privileges in 6/2012 by Cebu Archbishop on CA allegations. Also linked to ivory smuggling. Personnel files were to be released in Fall 2012. Included in 10/2021 on the Dominicans Holy Name Province list. Laicized in 2017. Died in 2021.
