Removed in 2002 after recent accusation that he had abused a minor female some 30 years previously. As of 2005, sentenced by Vatican to a life of prayer and penance. Brother of John Gallant, also an accused abuser. On archdiocese’s list 4/26/19. Noted to have been laicized.
