Fr. Nicholas Fuhrmann
Long-time Engilsh teacher at Subiaco Academy, and boxing coach. Accused in a lawsuit filed in 1994 of abuse at Subiaco 1978-1979. Dismissed by court due to the statute of limitations. Another complaint was filed in 2002 alleging abuse 1976-1979. The same person sued in 2005 after receiving no response from the Diocese. Dismissed in 5/2005 on the statute of limitations. Worked in the Fort Worth TX diocese 1981-1993. Permanently removed from active ministry in 2002. Working in 2005 at Subiaco Abbey farm. Included on Diocese of Little Rock’s list 9/10/2018. Eight known victims. Died 8/20/2019.
