Ordained in KS. Also known as R.C. Friend. Appears to have been assigned in IL, TN, LA. Arrived in LA in the early 1940s. Elevated to Monsignor in 1972. Pastor of St. Joseph’s in Zwolle for 31 years. Died in 1977. Named publicly as accused by the diocese on its list 2/6/2019. Allegation deemed credible by the Review Board in 2004, of the sexual abuse of a male minor in 1954. Settlement with the victim in 2005.
