Admitted in 2/02 to sexual misconduct with children. At the time he was being treated in a hospital for a “serious illness” of an unknown nature and had attempted suicide twice within four days. He named names of families. Bishop suspended his faculties and police investigated. By 5/02 he recanted his confession. No victims came forward, Prosecutor said no charges filed.
