From Kobayath, Akkar, Lebanon. Ordained in Rome. Arrived in the U.S. in 1969, began work in the Detroit archdiocese. Incardinated in 1977. Retired in 1997. Removed from ministry in 1/2021, at age 96, after the Archdiocese Board of Review deemed credible allegations of child sex abuse dating to early in his priesthood. The Archdiocese was informed in 7/2019 of the allegations, which had been reported to the police. Added to Archdiocese’s list of accused in 1/2021.
