Fr. John Eidenschink
As of 2002, Eidenschink, a former Abbot of the abbey, was living under restrictions at St. John’s Abbey. He admitted to sexually abusing two monks who had not yet taken their final vows. One victim was molested prior to 1971 and the other was molested during Eidenschink’s tenure as Abbot. He died in 6/04, at age 89.
