Fr. Denis Patrick Duffy
“Manus.” Accused in a 5/21 lawsuit, along with Rev. Bruno Ugliano and Bro. Jonathan Michael Hunt, of sexually abusing a Delbarton School student, ages 13-14, over 150 times 1977-78. Duffy would allegedly follow the boy into the bathroom then molest him, and sodomized him on an overnight class trip to the Jersey Shore. The priest allegedly told the boy “This is how God wants me to show you love.” Teacher, among other roles, including assistant headmaster, at Delbarton 1967-87. Left the priesthood and married in 1989. Died 12/30/08.
