Fr. Gilbert J. DeSutter
In 1993 a boy’s father went to the archdiocese with allegations. Official said the diocese had a file on DeSutter regarding other sexual misconduct allegations and that DeSutter would be retired. Six years later he was still active. Two lawsuits filed in 1999; settled out of court. A third suit was filed in 1996; dismissed on statute of limitations. Limited ministry 1998-2003. Moved to AZ without privileges, but was saying masses in 2002. Permanently removed from ministry in 2003. Died in 7/16.
