Placed on leave in 2003 after allegations of sexual misconduct during early years of ministry. Three female complainants made separate allegations. Archdiocese investigated for 9 months before determining that allegations were credible. Permanently removed from public ministry by Vatican per 9/2005 announcement. No criminal charges because of statute of limitations. Died 2/5/2012.
