Fr. J.M. Bourgeois
Monsignor. Per news in 1/2019, Bourgeois was accused in a lawsuit of the sexual abuse, including rape, of a 7- or 8-year-old altar boy at Sacred Heart of Jesus in Ville Platte. The alleged victim reportedly uncovered his memory of the abuse during counseling in 2002. Bourgeois died in 1978.
